Crested Whortleberry Cactus (Myrtillocactus geometrizans var. 'Crest Elite') is indigenous to Mexico. This stunning, unique and somewhat bizarre species is very slow growing. It is a densely forming, crested cactus. If provided with full sun, its skin tends to take on a more bluish color. As with most crested plants, it is unlikely to flower or produce fruit.
Place in full sun. Water sparingly, letting the soil dry out completely between waterings. Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot. No misting needed. Fertilize every 2-3 months during the growing season.
